In an exclusive soiree on Thursday, December 27, 2018, Crown & Champa Resorts received the ‘Leading CSR Program’ for 2018 in the Maldives Travel Awards. The event, held at Paradise Island Resort, welcomed over 200 industry professionals to celebrate the winners across all 25 categories in the gala edition.

 

The award serves a formal testament of the continuous aim to increase the sustainability of operations through positive contributions to biodiversity conservation, cultural heritage preservation and community development. Within the extensive Sustainability Report is the importance of corporate social responsibility (CSR) to promote local employment and fair trade, support local entrepreneurs, respect local communities, implement policies against commercial exploitation and practice responsible sourcing.

Award-winning Crown & Champa Resorts is nominated in 2 more categories for this year’s edition of the prestigious Maldives Travel Awards. The categories include Leading Eco Resort and Leading CSR Program to add to the categories from 2017, Leading Local Hotel / Resort Brand and Leading Human Resource Management.

 

Crown & Champa Resorts collected the Leading Local Hotel / Resort Brand at the annual gala last year. Cast your vote and help the best collection of resorts win at the Maldives Travel Awards 2018.
