In an exclusive soiree on Thursday, December 27, 2018, Crown & Champa Resorts received the ‘Leading CSR Program’ for 2018 in the Maldives Travel Awards. The event, held at Paradise Island Resort, welcomed over 200 industry professionals to celebrate the winners across all 25 categories in the gala edition.

On Thursday February 22, 2018, Crown & Champa Resorts was among the TOP companies to be awarded a GOLD 100 plaque in an exclusive invite-only event at Bandos Island Resort & Spa.

Now in its second year, the Corporate Maldives GOLD 100 Awards celebrate exceptionally performing companies and leading businesses in the Maldives. Of the 10 000 companies, Crown & Champa Resorts is listed among the leading companies in the Travel & Hospitality industry for the second year in a row.

The second edition of the Corporate Maldives GOLD 100 magazine contains the full list of companies awarded with the revered plaque.

Two Lifetime Achievement awards were presented to Mr. Mohamed Waheed Deen and Mr. Ahmed Nazeer, one of the Founders and Directors of Crown Company for their contribution towards pioneering the tourism and hospitality industry of the Maldives. Last year, the Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to another recognized pioneer, Mr. Hussain Afeef.
